DNF. It wasn't... Bad. But it wasn't good, either. I made it half way through and still didn't care at all about anyone in the story. It was just boring. And the maudlin attitude of all the characters was downright depressing. I believe from the description of the book that perhaps they would eventually feel a little more zest for life, but by halfway through I didn't even like any of them enough to see the story through to that point. If I owned the book I might have figured I'd eventually come back here and there to it, just to slog through to a conclusion, but it was a library book that I won't feel the need to check out again, and I'm not bothered by that at all.
