This was a cute, fun sports romance between a grumpy soccer player and his younger, sunshiney teammate. It has enemies to lovers vibes, though their hate/dislike for each other isn't really all that convincing with all their sexual tension. I'm really not sure what the purpose of the first chapter was beyond tying in some of the other siblings, because I would really have rather just jumped into the story itself.
Overall, the story was interesting and moved at a pretty good flow. I think the chemistry between the two characters developed almost too quickly after being at a standstill for almost too long, but otherwise it worked okay. I did like all the various rep throughout the book. I haven't read any of the other books by this author, but I did enjoy the writing style enough to check them out.
