Murder in the Mews by Agatha Christie
3.0
What a mixed bag.
Not my favorite short story collection (that title goes out to Mr Quin) but i did enjoy most of it.
Triangle at Rhodes had some early vibes of 'Evil under the Sun' and other relationship based stories. The Incredible Theft had a espionage element i liked. And the Dead Man's Mirror a good old 'suicide' but was it (?) among family and friends.
I'd say the only story i straight up didn't like was the titular 'Murder in the Mews'. Another 'suicide' but was it (?) story which in itself WAS engaging but Poirot's attitude at the end was not it for me. But on a more fun note, it did have the most obvious sapphic vibes in a old book i ever read 😂 like u have a girl being described as really really devoted to her female friend and hating the lover of said friend but than getting labeled jealous cus u want her man apperantly.
