a quick read, chronicling Nishat’s coming of age as a Bengali Irish lesbian teenager <3 there’s a LOT going on in this book, and i wanted to smack pretty much everyone besides Nishat. it very much felt like being thrown back into teenagerhood & i was just praying for everyone to have growth 😭 

there was also more homophobia than i was expecting, and while there was a happy ending, it was rough for a minute.
