Rainbow Valley by L.M. Montgomery

I enjoyed this book, although it seems to me it was more about the Meredith children and overcoming adult stubbornness to allow for change and a happy ending than about Anne Shirley or her children. Oddly, I usually am annoyed when books use adult stubbornness as the vehicle for driving the conflict in a story. Not so much for this book, perhaps because it's mainly told through childhood events and the associated "little" dramas of life. This one was a good read.
