Did not finish book.
Did not finish.
This was my second attempt at reading this book, the first being many years ago. I'm not entirely sure how far I got before or why I didn't finish the book/series. I decided to give it another go, since the premise sounded interesting and friends highly review it.
I don't know if I was in a reading slump but I just could NOT get into this book. I actually found myself not wanting to read altogether. I'm really not the kind of person that gives up on a book, barely ever. No matter how long it takes me, I like to finish things completely, and check them off my list. But after several weeks of this nonsense, I knew my books were due to the library soon; I decided there are so many other books I want to read and too little time to do so.
So there you have it. Perhaps I'll try again sometime. But after a second attempt, I am doubting it. I think that ship has sailed.
