The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand
3.75
While The Five Star Weekend doesn’t quite get 5 stars from me, it was a thoroughly enjoyable Summer read!
I haven’t read many of Elin Hilderbrand’s books yet; only The Hotel Nantucket and Summer of ‘69, both of which I loved. I was looking forward to The Five Star Weekend being a great Summer story to lift my spirits. I definitely wish I read the description beforehand (I went in blind), because tragedy happens very early on in the book. Not exactly what I was expecting when looking for a fun Summery book to distract me from stuff I’m going through
