Only and Forever by Chloe Liese
5.0
I wish I could be an honorary Bergman 😠I love this crazy fam so damn much. Like with all of Chloe Liese’s books, Viggo and Lula’s story was filled with fun banter, incredible tension, as well as very real vulnerabilities and strengths in equal measure.
Viggo’s ADHD experience feels so true to my own. I often forget to eat, I hyperfixate like it’s my job, and I’m always doing multiple things at the same time.
I also related to Lula in so many ways, and not just because of the blue hair… I’ve felt so many of the same things when it comes to prioritizing others needs above mine, even to my own detriment. I’ve felt disillusioned due to past relationships/experiences. I really loved her story and character development.
I’m so sad this series has come to an end. The Bergman Brother series has some of the best visibility/representation I’ve ever seen in books. The truth/reminder that every person is worthy and capable of love and happily ever after shines through in each book.
Highlights:
- Romance: MF
- Grumpy/sunshine (she’s the grump)
- ADHD visibility
- Type 1 Diabetes visibility
- Roommates
- One bed
- Hopeless romantic & a huge cynic
Note: I received an advance copy from the author & Berkley. Decision to read/review was my own. Opinion is my own.
