I am in a love-hate relationship with these stories. Amanda M. Lee produces books in bulk, there are a ton of new releases every year and one of the things that make this possible is that they are repetitive. Bay encounters a murder, Logan and she investigate, she is acting unreasonably, Logan cares for her too much, her aunt saves the day with Bay of course and Logan picks up the pieces. It is the same in every book, hence me disliking them. On the other hand, though, you fall in love with many characters and are invested in their life (I mean, come on, 18 books!), which makes it difficult to give them up. This book was better than the last few were, so I still have hope for the series.
