Keep Her Sweet by Helen Fitzgerald

3.0

Why is this book marketed as a psychological thriller? It's much more drama than a get into your head, edge of your seat kinda book.

We follow Asha and Camille, two VERY dysfunctional siblings with less than perfect parents, of course. While I'm all for dysfunctional families and the mental health aspects to families, the Moloney-Singhs just felt very far-fetched and hard to believe, especially the way they are portrayed. I felt the same with The Therapist in this book, like I get that it's her job to help families but it felt like she wanted to be the star of the show basically and cause more upset and drama within this family. Also, that ending?! What. The. Fudge. Is it just me who needs answers? It just all felt rushed.

This book had a lot of potential but for me, I felt very let down.
