I loved gymnastics as a kid. I was flexible and a little fearless the way kids are, and although I was never very good, I liked the world of gymnastics a lot. Now that I’m older, I’m less flexible and pretty much afraid of everything, but still love gymnastics. So when I saw this book on the shelf at my bookstore, I immediately had to purchase it.
This was a really fun, quick read, and I liked the view it gave me into the world of elite gymnastics. Truthfully though, I wish there had been more about gymnastics in the book. Although I really liked reading about Charlie’s home life and school life, and the struggle to balance those worlds with her gymnastics side of life, I guess what really drew me to the book was a desire to read about gymnastics.
Overall, if you’re looking for a fun summer read with a really cute romance, you can’t go wrong with this book! Recommended!
