Their Obsession by K.A. Merikan
4.0
The second book of the series brings up a new threat in the form of old enemies and the direct consequences of the first book, even if there lies a year between the two.
Character personalities and relationships are deepened, which I liked, but the vast majority of the book was still the fucking, mostly between Clover and one of the four mercenaries, but often three- or more-somes.
Content warnings include: ends in a cliffhanger, human trafficking, torture, rape, violence and murder, side character gets hit by a truck, house burns down, drug use, sex on-page, bondage, daddy kink, mentions of pedophilia, forced bestiality, dogs getting sicced on people.
