Anything Devney Perry writes; I am gonna read – because she has shown me that everything that she writes will turn out to be brilliantly binge – worthy!
Stone Princess is all about Presley, the one who is trying really hard to move on from the fact that she was left behind on the alter by the one man, no one in her makeshift family believed was good enough for her.
Presley was a character, a protagonist that would end up rooting for – she is as real as it gets. She was who she was, did not play any games and her past was as intriguing as who she had become today, as a human being.
Shaw, on the other hand was.. in one word – Swoony. I swear, there is no other word for it – I don’t really read Hollywood hero romances; but Shaw was so much more. His past defined not only his present (like Presley) but also his reason to film the story of the infamous murder in the town.
Stone Princess was a book that I couldn’t stop reading (and neither will you!) – not only is it an emotional small town romance; but it was a book that would keep you intrigued right till the end; and even beyond that – my patience to wait for the next book is wearing thin; not because I want to know what happens, but because I NEED to – it is a physical need, I am DYING over here!
