I really enjoyed this book! A second chance romance that also focussed on themes of racism, misogyny, chronic illness, invisible disability, grief, drug and alcohol abuse, you name it. It’s a sexy and heartbreaking story of these strong main characters with messy lives. How they overcome the messiness to reunite and reignite old sparks. Love, love, loved it!
Graphic: Addiction, Alcoholism, Chronic illness, Mental illness, and Self harm
Moderate: Misogyny, Racism, Sexual content, and Grief
Minor: Death
