The Fake Out by Jenni Bara
5.0
Emerson and Gianna have stolen my heart and I don’t ever want it back. If there was ever two imperfect people that were perfect for each other it’s these two. Gah! The swoon was swooning.
This sweet, sweet man. I loved him and all his clumsiness because that made him all the more endearing. The fact that Gianna was the only one that saw the loneliness and need to belong in him that no one else did further proved that she was the only one for him, and he for her because he saw the same in her.
The Boston Revs are so much more than a baseball team. They are a found family that stick by and support each other through thick and thin. When the guys showed up to Beckett's office, and the whole jersey scene (let's not forget Hannah and her heels and coach and his hat) my heart was so happy. Emerson finally knew just how much he meant to everyone.
The blue body paint, the surprise at the championship game...this entire book was chef's kiss!
I can't wait for more of this series.
