The Aliens Who Knew, I Mean, Everything by George Alec Effinger
5.0
One of the funniest, and fun, stories in science fiction. Effinger had a light enough touch that this doesn’t get bogged down, and his depiction of how utopia is created from the interaction with the aliens contains gems of insight that belie the format used. This story should have appeared in [a:Lewis Shiner|150432|Lewis Shiner|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1235134206p2/150432.jpg]’s anthology [b:There Won’t Be War|1551260|There Won't Be War|Harry Harrison|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1338921133l/1551260._SY75_.jpg|1543625] for its believable answer to the never ending strife that humans seem to be saddled with. Highly recommended to all readers.
