If a book can be enchanted, here is the book. I’m supposed to give 5 stars if only I wasn’t sleepy at the beginning. Despite its long chapter, I am surprised by how immerse myself can be, diving into every scene that feels so lively here. It’s a beautiful world but cruel, a dark beneath a greeny realm. Every line feels like magic, mellow yet powerful, and is directed to make my heart breaks into pieces. Every fate the writer created for our mc only puts me down on my knees. The story is beautifully narrated.
By the way, Jack is the only fictional character I have a clear visualization in my mind, I have a name of actor for him. I like him. I like Frae as well, she is so adorable, and I think Jack & Frae have found each other within short time of encounter. I can't believe each character here; Sidra, Adaira, Torin, even Jack carries a heavy responsibility. I don't set any expectation for the second book, what will be, will be.
