I had forgotten how much I love writing that can be both succint and superb (Eduardo Galeano is excellent at this as well). In such a brief novel, Claire Keegan captures the complexity of family dynamics and class inequality, leaving you introspecting (way more than you would like), about what makes a person, a good person.
