The Only Survivors by Megan Miranda

4.0

Ten years ago a school trip turned fatal leaving only nine survivors. After the death of one of them, the rest come together to make a pact. Everywhere on the date of the accident, they’ll meet up at a beach house in the Outer Banks. Their relationships are tense and no one truly trusts each other, however, when strange things start to occur they realize that sooner rather than later they’ll have to face their dark past.

I enjoyed this novel much more than I thought I would. It’s not the most unique but it’s written well enough that that is easy to overlook. The story is tense and suspenseful and had my heart racing almost the entire time.
