Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
5.0
This book, honestly really surprised me. When I started it, it felt like it wasn’t going to be as good as some of Hoover’s previous books I’ve read.
WRONG.
This book delivers, alright. Maybe not in the same vain as some of her other books but it’s definitely there with this dysfunctional family. All the secrets, lies etc… you can’t help but get drawn in. Especially with Merit. She is unpredictable at the best of times but I really liked that about her. I think that she is the one who really made this story come to life.
There is a lot packed into this book but it’s what’s needed to better understand the family, their actions and decisions.
TW:- Depression, Attempted suicide, mental health.
