The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen
4.0
**Reread 2024**
Nothing much really happens in this book. Ella goes home after running away to college in Las Vegas and trying to forget her past. Of course, her carefully constructed persona crumbles being in the presence of her partner-in-crime / best friend she's in love with who was determined to uncover the old her.
I love how much Micha loves her even when she's trying to push him away.
The ending is them being finally officially together but having to part ways so they can pursue their careers — him joining a band to go on the road while Ella does an internship in a museum.
I'm excited to read more about how they will overcome the challenges of a long distance relationship and whatever else will get thrown their way (I don't really remember much).
