I was disappointed by the book but I understand why now, it’s an adaptation of a play which explains why the writing is so simple. Plays aren’t really my cup of tea so naturally I didn’t enjoy this either. I found none of the 4 stories to be particularly gripping and also found it difficult to get attached to the characters.
