Mother Faker by Brittanée Nicole
5.0
“He isn’t just trying to win over me and my kids. He’s a genuinely good guy. And that is so much more dangerous for my heart.”
OH-MY-LANTA!! I loved Mother Faker! The moms are an imperfectly perfect team of amazing, hot mess, wholly relatable women doing their best for their kids and their squad. Mother Faker is book one in the four author Momcoms series and I’m obsessed! With a Fuller House inspired premise, Mother Faker introduces Olivia Maxwell and her three besties living in a Brownstone fixer-upper with their brood of children. Beckett Langfield is a no-nonsense, handsome, billionaire curmudgeon whose public image needs a boost. Liv is the recently divorced, single mom, PR manager who puts up with Beckett’s grumpiness daily. Little do either of them know that Liv, her kids, and their crazy momcom are the keys to unveiling Beckett’s nurturing side. I adore Brittanee’s spin on the fake marriage, workplace, Vegas wedding, single mom tropes. Beckett and Liv have off-the-charts scorching chemistry and Beckett’s dirty talking is top tier! Mother Faker is a funny, charming, witty, and heartwarming love story. Beckett Langfield is a big ol’ cinnamon roll whose protective “my wife” growls skyrocketed him to book husband status. Brittanee Nicole knocked it out of the park with Mother Faker; she laid a fantastic foundation for the Momcoms world. From the dynamics between the moms, to the witty banter, to the kid antics, and the smoldering romance, I loved this book from cover to cover! Oof, did I mention Beckett forking Langfield is a ducking alpharoll?! Seriously, my favorite treat. I can’t wait for more adventures with the momcom family!
