It was fine. Like I’m not sure why it took a fridge of literal blood bags for her to realize he was a vampire but romance reasons I guess. Mainly just the plot points seemed kind of pointless, but also take that with a grain of salt as I prefer historicals where the stakes (ha) seem more pertinent.

They did fuck on-page twice but it was mostly just ok and it took them a while to get there. Not sure if this qualifies as a slow burn, but it sure feels like a slow-burn to me.
