For some reason I had downloaded this off KU and I have no idea why or where I found it.

I'm not completely sure if I liked either MC. She was asking too much and being unforgiving. He was being too dense and not listening to what she was saying. He was way too hung up on what his siblings thought of him and also her brother forgiving him didn't sit right with me.

I think I have a blind spot when it comes to siblings and what is acceptable from a sibling. I'm an only child so sometimes I feel like what I find OK and what others with siblings is different. Like part of me is confused why her brother didn't cut him off too. Like he hurt your sister surely that means something more than his friendship?

Anyway, I feel like she settled. I was so excited she went to New York was all good to do her own thing and then she flounced back after all that work and making a stand to her exes mum. BTW how she treated him sucked. I don't think he was a prize but it wasn't his fault she wasn't all in.

Romance itself was fine. Didn't feel super passionate as I was expecting but was OK.
