Ties it all together but still I was left wanting something more. I think it’s the tension between actionable steps we can take as individuals vs the foundational requirement for societal transformation - the counterculture needs to become the culture. But also maybe we need to physically burn cash to stop consumption?? But in the end, I am inspired to - if not stop shopping entirely - at least consume more mindfully.
