If We're Not Married by Thirty by Anna Bell

4.0

What I liked most about this book is that they were actually able to be honest and vulnerable in their communication with each other. I get annoyed with miscommunication tropes in books - I don't mind a little, because it does happen in real life - but when huge misunderstandings and heartbreak happen from refusing to talk to each other, I'm like, even if the original issue was just a misunderstanding, I'm not sure how good of a couple you'll make if you don't communicate well with each other.

In any case, I thought this love story between Lydia and Danny is the sweetest thing ever. I feel like there is a definite shift in the kind of romances that appeal to the people today compared to even a few years ago, and this book makes me want more of the same! Definitely looking into Anna Bell's other books!
