Saying Goodbye to Tuesday by Chrissie Manby
5.0
This book. I know this review isn’t going to do the book any of the justice it rightfully deserves but believe me when I say, JUST READ IT.
Written from the perspective of the heart and soul of this gorgeous book, Stupendo comes a heartwarming story of a dog’s love for his human family.
But, you do need tissues handy. You will sob your heart out, but in order to move on, you need the truth don’t you? This is certainly the case for our loyal pup, Stupendo. In finding the truth, we come to adore his friendship with Zena and learn just how protective he is over his humans.
Alongside Stupendo’s story there is another storyline within these pages which is set to warm those romantic hearts.
Chrissie has also gone to length in including a character with a sight impairment and the research that has gone into it to make it the fulfilling book it is doesn’t go unnoticed. It certainly opened my eyes as to how much people don’t know about sight impairments, guide dogs and even something simple like what to say.
Stupendo, my favourite hero dog bringing this little street together with the help of the street animals, had my little heart so happy. I really loved how Tuesday and Andrew’s friendship blossomed with the help of their dogs, Stupendo and Zena.
Please, please, don’t just take my word for it. READ IT. ♥️
