A sad and striking image of a child who had to grow up too fast because of the dysfunctions of his parents. In-depth description of the problem of poverty in the United States. It was horribly brutal... But it is worth reading to realize the scale of the problem of poverty and to realize how lucky we are in life and how often we underestimate it. A very important book!
