Do Me a Favor by Cathy Yardley
5.0
Reading this book felt so good. Both character were amazing. I love how they were both much older but still navigated their feelings like younger people (it made it so relatable and funny). To me this book stresses how important it is to have individuality even in relationships. It’s important to have your own goals and working on your own accomplishments. As amazing as it is to share your life with someone knowing that there are things you’ve accomplished yourself will definitely be a reason why you aren’t plagued with regrets. I wish Willa had way more in life but she seems genuinely happy and grateful so it all works out. I love how she was able to ask for help and realize how big and reliable her support system is. She also stood up to her parents (about time she was almost 50 lol) and I’m happy she still has a relationship with them. The spice was also really sweet (I know it contradicts itself lol but there was something romantic about it). Their bather is so cute and sexy. I love the authors writing style. It’s so soothing and entertaining. This would make a perfect fall/ cozy read.
