Whisper into the Night by Jay Leigh

5.0

I loved this book. The first thought that struck me when I began reading this book was WOW, THIS PERSON CAN WRITE! Because, friends, the writing is really good. It's beautiful, smart, and intricate.

The book starts off by fleshing out the main cast. There are multiple points of views, and while I had a bit of trouble keeping up with the characters at the beginning, I ended up loving the change in perspective. I love thrillers, I love suspense and intrigue and twists and drama, and this book delivered on all of that. The second half had my pulse rising, because the pace was so alert, everything was happening all at once, and yes! That's my jam.

Found family is something that I adore. I'm so happy when a bunch of people just click, you know? When they find comfort and support in one another. It's much like this book community, where you find people that understand you and appreciate you, even if you've only known each other for a couple of weeks. (I'm basically Lily, always bringing cake and cookies and being introverted and AWESOME.
