Mother of Death and Dawn by Carissa Broadbent
5.0
This final book is so much more complex than the first two. There are three major storylines happening at the same time. Honestly, I wanted a happily ever after for all three threads, but I knew that wouldn't be possible, because they wanted opposite outcomes.
To truly appreciate the complexity of this series, I will have to reread it somewhere down the line. Each character has depth and a backstory that's worth its own side-story. The politics between the groups is more interesting than the world building at times, and there were times I wished for more "down-time" with the characters. However, this book was very fast pace and action-packed. It is already a very long book. So, I don't know where you would have put "down-time". I was very happy with the ending, which, as some of you know, is very important to me.
