I’ll be honest, I just love a story that’s easy from start to finish. This is silly, cute and above all so cozy. Is it predictable? Yes. Are there basically no stakes or true feelings of worry? Yup. Does it have a last minute happy ending? Absolutely. It’s a quick to read reminisce of an already resolved adventure and slice of life antics filled with classic tropes. Even though I can’t say it’s the most perfect, self-engraining, memorable book with an ensemble of characters that are impeccably fully realized, I can say that I loved what this is regardless as it was the perfect thing to pull me out of a months long slump.
