What an excellent journey through the Old Testament and how it informed Jesus’ understanding of who he is! This book really takes us deep into the journey of understanding how Jesus himself understood the Hebrew Scriptures (OT), and how all the New Testament is filled with these OT statements. If we don’t understand the OT, how Jesus understood it and how it informed his life; we will miss out on so much of the glories of the gospel and that Jesus lived amongst us!
