This volume contains one of my absolute favorite chapters, Parent and Child. This volume not only shows the growth that Subaru has achieved in this series, but offers a hint to the growth and development that is still to come. All the while, it provides Subaru with an opportunity to tell his parents not to worry about him and say goodbye, even if it is within a dream world. It as Subaru realizes for himself
