The book started great, I loved the build-up and the introduction to the characters. I loved how there was spice in it but it didn't overwhelm the story, it just progressed naturally. It didn't feel as taboo as I thought it would read. I love a good revenge story.
However, as I got to know the characters more I realized I couldn't relate to the characters. Jackson seemed a bit immature for my liking and Carrie seemed very naive and weak, with not much growth in her character either. The unraveling of the plot seemed a bit rushed.
