Boone is trying to be aware of things around him. Jaxi isn’t ending her day on a good note – or is she. I loved watching the interactions between the main characters and the secondary characters. Some of those interactions made for some hilarious moments.
The author was good in not making the secondary characters becoming more important than Boone and Jaxi. With our main characters, they had a very easy-going banter that was fun to watch. It’s a story to sit back, relax, and watch any kind of connection for this couple unfold.
I’ve been loving this series. After watching the Mason family interacting with each other in this book I think that I need to go back and read them over again – a Mason marathon sounds good. If you like romantic comedies then this would be a good pick. Reading this book as a standalone would be fine but you’re only behind two books so don’t you want to get to know Boone’s family? Especially after getting to know something about them here? And the good news is that we don’t have to wait long before the next book comes out.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
