I absolutely adored this book! I'm thankful that I knew going in of the age-gap trope though, because if I had not, it might have turned me away. For me personally, it is not an issue, but there are surely people who read that part and immediately put the book down. I loved the gradual realization of everything and how everything played out after the funeral. While I do remember distinctly saying, "If he talks at the end of this book, I will be giving this one star," I was so elated by the ending and the way it played out that I honestly didn't care. I was sobbing the whole last chapter. It was an amazing experience.
