I have a love and hate relationship with anthologies – there will almost always be some stories, that will always miss their mark with me; but does that ever stop me from reading them? Nope. Mostly because they are easy and fun to read well!
I actually requested access to this title because while it had been ages since I read anything by Kat Martin; but I did remember that I definitely enjoyed her books; all romantic suspense novels!
The three novellas within this book – are by three different authors – are all connected with each other. The female protagonists are all friends; but are all in some sort of trouble. All the three novellas didn’t actually read like novellas; but like three full length novels – they all had that edge of suspense with a whole lot of romance for my cold dead heart to soak in for at least a little while!
All the three novellas had a strong foundation + a brilliantly thought out plot with strong protagonists and an engrossing mystery and some very sizzling romances – and if you are wonderfully why I am reiterating this TWICE, it’s because I went & ended up picking Alexandra Ivy’s backlist books to read and will be picking up books by the other two authors; Kat Martin & Rebecca Zanetti as well! *wink*
