Ghost Knight by Cornelia Funke

2.0

This book was written oddly. Like the main character was somehow a very old person and was telling us a story, but the way the story was being told didn't make a whole lot of sense.

He would say stuff about how he would come to recognize a look, in a strange whimsical way but I didn't feel any connection to also feel the same. The story was ok, about a boy who is sent off to boarding school and he starts seeing ghosts who want him dead. He makes friends with a girl who knows about ghosts.

Again this wasn't a strong story, and the writing style just wasn't for me. For kids 4th grade on up, if they are looking for a slow, not very scary ghost story.
