The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa
5.0
Pessoa never finished this book, but the excerpts and letters from it are some of the most powerful prose I've ever read. Writing under "heteronyms", as he called his literary personas, Pessoa constantly tried til his death to finish this book and never achieved it. In a way that is extremely poetic for the material contained within which covers in depth depression and apathy towards life and removing yourself from reality to dwell within dreams. I loved every minute of this. A must read.
