This felt like the skeleton of a good book. Could be very interesting and moving if there was just more to it.
The characters were so one-sided and the dialogue so dominant. But their inner thoughts are never revealed. Things just happen. “This happened. X said this. X did this…” Why? How did that make x feel ? What led them to that decision?
I really wanted this to be more than it was. Left me so disappointed bc I want the fully fleshed out version of this story and world.
