Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt
2.0
“I got the tattoo because I wanted to remember that feeling that you gave me the first time I met you. When you burst inside and demanded to make a connection. I wanted to remember to not be afraid of that, anymore. Even if it doesn’t look the same for everyone. Even if some people speak with their hands, some use a mic, or art, whatever. You did it with your friendship with us.”
I tried, but I had to put this book down. Funny Feelings - Tarah Dewitt is a fake dating romance of two comedians who have a great friendship of mentor and mentee. However, something big struck our dear Farley Jones: She suggested it would work to fake date her mentor Meyer, a former stand-up single daddy. Of course, the plotline surrounds comedy; it has sarcastic humour and banter, which gave me a few chuckles here and there. The plotline was good but lacked chemistry, and I got bored over time. Nothing kept me interested, so I just wanted to see where it ended.
.
I still want to read more of Tarah Dewitt's works to see the other romance she has for us.
