Any Man of Mine by Rachel Gibson

2.5 stars
This is a hard one for me to review because whilst I enjoyed the story, I hated the main characters.
Sam and Autumn have avoided each other ever since that fateful week 6 years ago in Vegas. But when their eyes meet at a wedding Sam attends that Autumn has planned, everything changes.
Sam really annoyed me. He seemed to go out of his way to be as crass as he could be. I honestly can't believe what he said after the first time he and Autumn had sex again... could he really be that moronic?
I don't understand Autumn either. She's mad as hell at Sam for all these years and then now, yeah, friends with benefits sounds like a GREAT idea. Silly woman.
I'm glad there was a happy ending and I'm ecstatic that for whatever reason Sam decided to be there for Conner but to be honest, I sort of wanted Autumn and Sam to go their separate ways and find someone for themselves that was a better fit.
Vegas stories - or at least ones that have scenes in Vegas - are a personal favourite of mine and this was an enjoyable read.

I don't understand why all of a sudden Sam decides to be a more attentive father to their son. He's known about Conner since he was born and spends various weekends with him and yet it takes a chance meeting with Autumn to make him realize that he's been a rather pitiful father.Sam really annoyed me.
