I will not lie; I knew what I was about to read before I went into it, but somehow I was still a bit flabbergasted. I think the problem isn't the content, it could have an enjoyable read if the writing was a bit better. I didn't need flowery writing or prose that would stop me in my tracks, I just needed decent writing, that's all 😅
