All's Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare
3.0
Eh. It was a fairly interesting plot, but the idea of it all “ending well” just because most of the characters got what they wanted in the beginning, rings a little hollow when you think about what the characters have to look forward to.
Like, was all really well in the end? Or is Helen gonna be mega salty that she put all this time and effort into winning a man who’s kinda a POS? Idk man. This one missed the mark for me.
I literally only marked down one exchange from this one, and it’s not spoken by any of the primary characters because most of them were kinda vapid and single minded.
Second lord: I will tell you a thing, but you shall let it dwell darkly with you.
First lord: When you have spoken it, ‘tis dead, and I am the grave of it.
