This story has a head-strong female lead who wants something different out of life, a protective male lead and interesting side characters, elements that can be found in many romantasies. The magic and world building are what is unique about this book. Violent magical storms of fire, wind and lightning wreck havoc on the world and must be fought off by those that are powerful or brave enough to try.
