Why did I waste so much time with this!! It started out as a cool  look at social media and parasocial obsession, but then got rly flat. I heard the ending was weird which urged me on, but it wasn’t a Good weird, it was just bizarre and disjointed!! The only character who was vaguely interesting to me DIED halfway through and then the book became a completely different story!! No cohesion, no depth, no take-away meaning. A real Bad Rec from BookTok
