Silken Prey by John Sandford
3.0
In a close political race, having one's opposition suddenly be caught with illegal child pornography is an amazing stroke of luck. But Smalls insists that he's been framed, and come to think of it, the timing and benefits it provides Grant does seem suspicious... Add in a dead political fixer, some ex-military bodyguards and party spies on both sides and Lucas Devnport is suddenly in the middle of a very dangerous political game.
Interesting set of characters, fairly interesting motives and plot. Not a huge fan of how some characterization is done (manly-men sitting around talkng if big ass or big tits are preferable are lame and not my thing). But overall a pretty good crime novel.
