I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston
3.0
Strong 3.5
I really like McQuiston's writing and her side characters. This is a nice YA mystery with some clever maneuvers - between this and One Last Stop, I'm ready for McQuiston to write a straightforward cozy whodunnit.
I did not like the protagonist that much, nor did I like the title character. Ultimately that somehow wasn't a dealbreaker. Audio production was good, but McQuiston writes teenage boys a whole lot better than the narrator delivers them, which was kind of a shame.
